Quality Control

 The UCI facility is ISO9001:2008 registered.

UCI uses a single corporate quality systems manual. All of our quality procedures and work instructions are written and formatted to follow the standards of ISO 9001:2008.

The UCI quality manual functions as a guideline and enables easy correlation to ISO standards.

Our Director of Quality Assurance is responsible for all aspects of the UCI Quality System and provides solutions through designated channels. Quality System audits, documentation, and corrective / preventive action follow-up are all coordinated by the Director of Quality Assurance.

Our inspection program is based on IPC-A600 for Printed Circuits Boards and UPC-610 for all Electronic Assemblies. Solder training is in accordance with IPC's J-STD-001 "Training and Certification Program" handbook.  ANSI/IPC Training is conducted by an in-house Certified Instructor.

The Quality Management System is presided over by the United Circuits President, Tim Caudle.
